I got this to replace a comforter with the same pattern that I got elsewhere, because the pattern is so perfect it has ruined me for other comforters. I'm very happy with Wake in Cloud's version of this comforter. It held up in it's first wash/dry quite well so far. It's hard to describe the way that it's soft, but I think I saw someone describe it as buttery, which I have to agree with--I think it has something to do with the stuffing inside being lightweight, fluffy, but not too thick. The comforter is definitely pet approved. One of my cats is soo picky about blankets but she will lay on this one no problem.
